Araku Coffee goes global with Paris launch

Araku Global Holdings has announced the opening of its flagship retail store in Paris, France, marking the global debut of Indian coffee brand ‘Araku’.

Araku is a home grown blend of Arabica coffee cultivated by the indigenous tribes of the Araku Valley in Andhra Pradesh using advanced bio-dynamic farming practices that ensure top quality and premium pricing. Araku Global Holdings was formed by a group of Indian businessmen including Mahindra Group Executive Chairman Anand Mahindra, Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, Dr Reddy’s Chairman Satish Reddy and Soma Enterprise Chairman Rajendra Prasad Maganti.

They came together to form a social enterprise that is managed by the Naandi Foundation’s chief executive officer Manoj Kumar, along with other trustees.
