<p>Bengaluru: Emerging technologies like <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/generative-ai">generative AI</a>, deep technology, and quantum computing are set to create over a million jobs by 2030 globally, according to a report by business services provider <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/quess-corp">Quess Corp</a> out on Wednesday.</p>.<p>Meanwhile, 500 new Global Capability Centres (GCCs) are expected in India by 2030, generating 6-8 lakh jobs.</p>.<p>In the July to September quarter of this fiscal (Q2 FY25), Bengaluru dominated tech hiring with 43.5 per cent demand share. After Bengaluru, the highest tech hire demand was seen in Hyderabad (13.4 per cent) and Pune (10 per cent). Within tech hiring demand, development skills dominated with a 41per cent share. In all, 79 per cent of the demand emerged for top five skill suites: development, enterprise resource planning, testing, networking, and data science.</p>.SoftBank's Son sees India's potential to become big player in chip design.<p>Overall, the demand for AI jobs increased by over 30 per cent from the previous quarter.</p>.<p>Kapil Joshi, CEO of Quess IT Staffing, said “Reskilling and upskilling with proliferation of GCCs are driving the dynamic ecosystem of India’s tech growth. While challenges remain, India's IT industry is well-positioned to grow 10-12 per cent in the next six months. The manufacturing and Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sectors exhibit the strongest hiring intent, with a projected 25 per cent increase in hiring.”</p>.<p>According to him, staffing in India is poised for significant growth.</p>.<p>In terms of sectors in Q2 FY25, technology talent demand saw IT services firms leading by 37 per cent, followed by business process management and consulting at 11 per cent each, manufacturing (9 per cent) and BFSI (8 per cent) firms.</p>
