<p>Smartphone retailer Phonup India, a joint venture between Franchise India and Phonup Italy, on Friday announced plans to set up 25 retail stores in Bengaluru.</p>.<p>Interacting with DH, Franchisee India Chairman Gaurav Marya said their stores will be a 'one-stop-destinations' for all mobile phone solutions.</p>.<p>"We just opened our operation in Bengaluru by opening first store on Cunningham Road. We are expanding our points of sale to 25 stores by the end of this year with a total investment of $1 million," he said.</p>.<p>Phonup, offers the widest range of new and certified pre-owned smartphones and tablets from leading brands such as Apple iPhone, Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Motorola and Lenovo among others.</p>.<p>"We will be the franchisee of Phonup in Asia and will start our operation in India. We will expand our presence in other geographies," he said. </p>.<p>Phonup India Chief Operating Officer Sanjeev Arora said Phoneup focus is on four important points. "Besides selling new phones and pre-used phones, we are also selling all mobile accessories and offer extended warranty to consumers," he said.</p>.<p>Arora said the company has tied up with Pine Labs to provide the finance the support for the warranty service. "We will charge 7% to 8% of the phone's bill value to provide extended warranty," he said.</p>.<p>The company started its operation last year by opening up stores in Gurugram and Kathua. </p>
