<p>To woo customers amid low occupancy in its flights, Tata-SIA joint venture carrier Vistara today rolled out special 90-day advance purchase fares, starting at Rs 2,129.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Vistara's offer comes after most of the domestic carriers, mainly the no-frills ones, launching similar discount ticket schemes earlier in the month.<br /><br />Under the 'Book Early and Save More' scheme, the airline which launched its services in January this year has offered the lowest fares on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad sector at Rs 2,129 for a single journey while the maximum fares of Rs 5,529 have been offered for a Delhi-Goa trip.<br /><br />The fares for Delhi-Guwahati sector would be Rs 4,459 and for the Delhi-Bagdogra flights Rs 4,399, the airline said in a communication to its club members.<br /><br />Besides, for the New Delhi-Mumbai the fares have been pegged at Rs 3,539 and for Delhi-Hyderabad at Rs 3,699 under the advance purchase scheme.<br /><br />These routes apart, the airline has announced discount tickets for other sectors also, which it currently operates to or intends to launch flight services.<br /><br />The latest full-service airline, after state-run Air India and private carrier Jet Airways, Vistara currently operates across five domestic airports -- New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Goa and Hyderabad with a fleet of six Airbus A320s.<br /><br />As part of its expansion plans, it would launch services to Guwahati, Bagdogra and Pune from next month.<br /><br />Last month, SpiceJet had announced a 'cheaper-than-train-fares' sale, under which all-inclusive one-way air tickets were priced as low as Rs 599.<br /><br />The Wadia Group-promoted GoAir followed suit with a limited period low fares scheme, with Rs 999 starting fares and offering more than four months validity period for travel across its network. <br /><br />The domestic arm of the Malaysian carrier AirAsia, AirAsia India too recently rolled out a promotional fares scheme, offering all-inclusive tickets, starting at Rs 550, for travel between September 1 this year and May 31 next year.</p>
