Nobody can dare to touch me: Yash on supari killers

Allaying the fears of his fans that a few gangsters had been given a supari (contract) to kill him, Rocking Star of Sandalwood Yash on Saturday clarified that nobody could dare touch him. Addressing the media after the industry was abuzz with the news that a few miscreants had been given supari to kill him and CCB sleuths had arrested them, the superstar of Kannada cinema industry clarified that there is no threat to his life.

On Saturday it was abuzz that a few of the gangsters arrested on Thursday by a team of sleuths from Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru Police led by ACB Balaraj during interrogation had revealed the name of Yash against whom they had taken a supari to kill him. "I have personally checked with the police, home department officials and everybody has denied my name being in the hit list of these gangsters. My family, friends and well-wishers have been disturbed by these rumours. I would like to clarify that nobody can even dare touch me. There is a government, police and people out there. I do not think it is that easy for someone to kill me so easily," Yash reacted.

Expressing shock that the issue is taking a different turn on the social media platforms Yash said, "These rumours are creating a rift among the people and fans on social media. The entire industry in Karnataka is living like a family. This kind of rumours would only make people suspect others in the industry. I beg the people to stop this kind of propaganda spreading."

Clarifying on stone pelting incident on his car he said, "It was long back and I had informed the police immediately beside filing a complaint. Those minute incidents have nothing to do with the latest development." He urged fans not to heed to such rumours and requested them to be peaceful.

On Thursday CCB sleuths had arrested four gangsters near the BDA office in Sheshadripuram limits, The arrested including Nithesh and Nithyananda of Sheshadripuram, Madhu from Vijayanagar and Prithvi from PG Halli were said to be the accomplices of rowdy sheeter Slum Bharat who was shot at by the city police a few days ago. Currently, Bharat is in judicial custody. Rumours had it that Bharat had taken a supari to kill a superstar of Sandalwood and his accomplices were only executing the orders of Bharat as he was arrested by the police a few days ago.
