JOIN USA parent and an anganwadi teacher at Kaasaghatta Government School in Doddabelavangala fought furiously over a skirmish involving their children on Wednesday morning.
In the fight between two first standard boys, the grandson of Muniyamma, the anganwadi teacher working for the same school, had his hand slashed by the son of Muniratnamma.
A few students informed Muniyamma that her grandson's hand was bleeding. An enraged Muniyamma confronted the two boys as a teacher beat up Muniratnamma's son.
When Muniratnamma learnt about the incident, she came to the school and started abusing Muniyamma, thinking she had hurt her son with the blade. The quarrel even turned physical and both the parties approached the Doddabelavangala police station.
"We have asked both the parties to lodge their respective complaints, and are waiting to take up a case," said a senior police officer.
