Devika Santosh, 16, a class eleven student of Navkis Educational Centre near Yeshwantpur has been invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the Republic Day parade in New Delhi.
Devika, who scored 99.2% in the class ten examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, is one of the hundred meritorious students from across the country selected to attend the R-Day parade.
“This is a dream come true,” she said, reports The Hindu.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development will bear all the expenses.
