The BJP on Monday urged Bengaluru police commissioner T Suneel Kumar to crack down on those involved in the sale of drugs.
A delegation of BJP leaders led by former minister R Ashoka submitted a petition to the commissioner, seeking strict action to control the increasing drug menace. The police should form special teams to identify and control the drug handlers, the leaders added.
The government recently assured the Assembly that strict action will be taken against those selling drugs. But no action has been taken, Ashoka
said.
