The BWSSB has donated Rs 2.40 crore to the Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund. The contribution includes Rs 40 lakh collected by deducting one-day pay from all its staff. B A Basavaraj, urban development minister; Rakesh Singh, additional chief secretary, urban development department; and BWSSB chairman Tushar Girinath were present when the cheque was handed over.
