Election officials and the police on Saturday seized home appliances worth Rs 25 lakh from Vijayanagar constituency.
The officials seized water pots, gas stoves, pressure cookers and plates from the house of a BJP Yuva Morcha worker at Raghavanagar in Byatrayanapura. A case has been filed at the Byatrayanapura police station.
BJP candidate from the constituency, Ravindra, has written his electoral number on the appliances and was distributing them, the police said.
