The management representatives of a multinational IT firm have lodged a complaint against one of its hardware engineers for stealing computer components from the office premises.
Based on a complaint lodged by Suresh Kumar S, a senior executive at the IT firm, located in the Bagmane Tech Park in CV Raman Nagar, the Byatarayanapura police registered an FIR against Harishkumar M S on September 4.
In his complaint, Kumar stated that Harishkumar was among the 30 engineers who were hired by the company in August this year for technical support service of computers and accessories for their clients.
On September 3, Kumar received a complaint that several computer components belonging to the company have gone missing.
The officials concerned conducted an internal probe. On scrutiny of the CCTV footage, they discovered that Harishkumar was stealing expensive components from the company. Kumar lodged a complaint with the police, who have taken up a case and are investigating.
