Man held for stalking techie in Switzerland

A man has been arrested for stalking a woman software engineer working in Switzerland and intimidating her family members residing here.

Lokesh, 30, and the woman, who is in her 30s, knew each other since childhood as they were neighbours. She went on to do her engineering and landed a job as a software engineer in Switzerland, while Lokesh ran a tools store in the neighbourhood. He kept in touch with her through social media. He somehow managed to get her phone number and started claiming she was his girlfriend and without whom he cannot move ahead in life. This annoyed the woman, who started maintaining a distance from him, and began ignoring his messages and calls.

This angered Lokesh, who went to her house in Srirampura and created a ruckus. He badmouthed her parents, demanding they get her married to him. The woman's sister then went to police.
