Despite closing down its outpatient department till June 29, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, saw 171 outpatients who needed urgent consultation on Wednesday alone.
Among the 60 staffers who have been quarantined, 40 have tested negative. While 15 have been quarantined in the hospital, the remaining are at home. The premier hospital has a total staff strength of 2,000.
