Congress block-level committees to be dissolved

Kodagu District Congress Committee President Shivu Madappa said block committees of Congress will be dissolved and new elected committees will be formed within a fortnight.

Madappa told reporters on Friday that inactive presidents and members of block committees will be replaced by active members, keeping in mind the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The list of members active in the party will be submitted to KPCC. Following the directions of KPCC , all block and zonal committees of Congress had been dissolved, said Madappa.

KPCC Vice President Mittu Changappa, MLC Veena Acchaiah and leader V P Suresh were present.
