The police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. Parents and relatives of Rakesh (17) alleged that medical negligence on part of medical staff led to his death.
Rakesh, a resident of Sheshadripuram, was admitted to Mahaveer Jain Hospital, Sheshadripuram recently for respiratory problem.
The hospital staff advised the parents to shift him to Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital in Vasanthnagar on Wednesday morning as he suddenly developed some complications.
However, he was declared brought dead at the Vasanathnagar hospital. Shocked parents and relatives staged a snap stir and demanded action against the hospital staff.
Man attacked
A 58-year-old shopkeeper Sadashiva Reddy was brutally attacked by an unidentified miscreant in C K Achukattu area on Tuesday evening. The victim, a resident of Ittamadu, is under treatment with multiple head injuries. The suspect attacked him with an iron rod without any provocation.
