Speaking to press persons here on Thursday, Vijay Kumar Shetty said that in spite of several evidences available to arrest the culprits, Mangalore police have not placed a foot forward to interrogate into the case. Though it has been a month since the occurrence of incident, culprits have not been arrested yet.

Looking into all the available evidences and attitude of the police, involvement of a BJP elected representative in the case is evident, he said.

Putting forth the evidences, he informed that registration number of Maruti Alto car used for abduction, details of Honda Activa used to drop the Manager, man who booked bus tickets and such other informations reveal about those who have involved in the entire incident.
Though the company officials have lodged complaint with Barke police, the police department has not taken any steps to probe the case and therefore the District Congress Committee urges the district police to probe into the case at the earliest paying no heed to external forces, he asked.

Committee General Secretary Prabhakar Ullal, Santhosh Kumar Shetty, Corporator Shashidhar Hegde and others were present.
