The deceased has been indetified as Sridhar (19) of Maindaguri.
It is said that Sridhar was travelling on the footboard when the mishap occurred. Seconds after he was thrown out, he came under the rear wheels of the same bus.
A case has been registered.
Woman, son missing
A woman and her son have gone missing from Mission Church Compound at Bokkapattana in Mangalore from October 2. The missing are Yasmin Banu (28) and her four years old child Yasser. It was said that Yasmin had left her house saying that she will visit her mother’s house at Bajpe and did not return home. Yasmin is wheatish with five feet tall and was wearing black burkha on the day she left home. She can speak in Kannada, Malayalam and Tulu.
