Recalling India's historic World Cup victory at Lord's in 1983, Lal said the current Indian team has the potential to repeat history in the tournament, which is jointly being hosted by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
The trophy, which arrived here from Lucknow and will reach Hyderabad tomorrow, was later taken in a procession to different parts of the city.India will face Bangladesh in the opening match of the mega-event at Dhaka on February 19, next year
