Addressing media persons here, Kumar threatened to stage a protest in front of the deputy commissioner’s office and Zilla Panchayat office if action was not taken against the guilty within 15 days.
The chief executive officer has failed to take action the secretary Krishnanayak, bill collector Venugopal, former vice-president Basavaraj and former member Kempegowda, despite filing case against them. Supporting documents had been given at the time of filing complaint.
According to official documents, works worth around Rs 80 lakh have been completed in 2009-10. They had allegedly produced fake 400 job cards and drew money in bank by producing fake completion report of development of Badagatte tank development, improvement of Narasimhanayakana kere and other works. Besides, they have withdrawn money for 20 times under the garb of repair of motors of mini-water supply tank.
