The 700-ft saree is in Kancheepuram silk, Mahabalipuram shore temple captured in Pallava style.

The sari is twice the height of Statue of Liberty and longer than the length of the Brigade Road. Close to 16 craftsmen and six master weavers took three months’ time to complete the saree with its pallu portion measuring 60 feet and used 50,000 jaquarand cards to depict the Mahabalipuram Temple. R M K Vishwanath of Tirunelveli has created this saree with a length of 40 sarees in one.
