Foetus found buried near hospital

The Kalasipalyam police arrived at the spot and retrieved the foetus from the dump.

Police questioned the doctors at the nearby Referral Hospital on H Siddaiah Road. According to the sources in the hospital the hospital had a maternity ward and all foetuses were handed back to the parents.
 
The police later took the remains of the foetus to Victoria Hospital where a post-mortem will be conducted to determine its age and sex.

A case has been registered following a complaint from a resident.
