In his complaint, Shankar stated that he was hired by Mumbai -based G B Global Resourcing Private Limited in July 2007 to handle its Bangalore operation and everything was in place till mid 2008 before the management decided to shut down its office in the City due to loss.
Following the closure of the company, Shankar was asked to leave the company. He started getting calls from one Sanjay Khemkar who introduced himself as the recovery agent appointed by the company management.
“Initially, Khemkar’s action was restricted in calling me and asking for the amount. But, gradually he threatened to hurt my family members,” Shankar stated in his complaint.
