During the quarter, HUL recorded a 10.7 per cent increase in its net sales to Rs 4,680.87 crore from Rs 4,228.11 posted in the corresponding period previous fiscal. The company attributed the robust growth to strong volume growth of 14 per cent in its domestic consumer business.
While personal products grew by 15 per cent— its sixth consecutive quarter of double digit volume growth, food business saw a growth of 13 per cent driven by beverages and ice cream.
