Kohinoor introduces new range of basmati

Speaking to the press persons, the Joint Managing Director of Kohinoor Foods Ltd Gurnam Arora informed that Kohinoor is introducing three different varieties of basmati rice namely Platinum, Gold and Silver to cater to the changing needs of customers. If Kohinoor Platinum is the authentic traditional basmati rice, Kohinoor Gold is the longest basmati rice produced in the world and Kohinoor Silver is the new generation super basmati Rice, he said.

Kohinoor Platinum is the costliest of all, costing about Rs 150 per kg, Kohinoor Gold costs Rs 100 per kg and Kohinoor Silver is the affordable brand as it costs about  Rs 70 per kg.

Kohinoor Gold is the blend of basmati and non basmati rice and is 8.8 mm long in size when
its raw, informed Gurnam Arora and added that all the three rice varieties will be available in the leading retail outlets.
