State-level radiologists meet on Sunday

Speaking at a press conference in the city, he said that more than 1,500 radiologists working in government, central government, autonomous institutions, private hospitals across the State would be participating in the programme.

Demands

The conference would urge the Government to fulfil their demands including pay hike and 30 days pay for over time duty on government holidays.

The government should grant a radiation allowance other than special allowance, he added.
The Association also demands for promotion of junior technologists to senior posts.

Minister for Medical Education S A Ramdas would inaugurate the conference. Health Minister B Sriramlu would preside, while Suttur mutt seer Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Swamiji would grace the occasion. Minister for Forests C H Vijayashankar would release the souvenir. Mayor Sandesh Swamy and others will attend.
