Divij Sharan advanced after a 6-3, 7-5 win over Israel's Tal Eros while sixth seed Rohan Gajjar beat 6-1, 6-1 demolition of compatriot Ajai Selvaraj. Top seed Kento Takeuchi from Japan survived a scare from N Vijay Sunder Prashanth before eking out a 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 win and third-seeded Korean Hyun-Woo Nam beat Bhisham Desai 6-1, 6-1.
