“We have briefed Gadkari about the political developments in the State. It is up to him now to decide,” state party president K S Eshwarappa said.

Eshwarappa, along with Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and National General Secretary Ananth Kumar on Friday had air-dashed to Nagpur to update Gadkari first hand on the recent political turmoil in the State and subsequent developments.

Eshwarappa said: “He (Gadkari) told us that he would discuss all the issues with the party central leadership and get back to us.”

Yeddyurappa, last week, was forced to spike his plans to expand the Cabinet following rumbling of dissent in the party with aspirants dividing themselves into various groups.

When contacted, Independent MLA Varthur Prakash, who had been promised a Cabinet berth for supporting the Government during the October 14 trust vote said he was ready to wait for a few more days.
