KDA Chairman Mukyamantri Chandru has appealed to Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to seek High Court's opinion on the issue and take steps to pass resolutions in both houses of legislature to make Kannada the official language in the Court.
Delivering judgements in Kannada would help litigants. Several lower courts were pronouncing verdicts in local language, he said.The KDA would honour 64 judges and magistrates of lower courts on November 13 in recognition of their efforts in use of Kannada, Chandru said
