He was speaking during his visit to the flood affected areas of Linglapura and Santhakerehalli of Kadur taluk where massive destruction has occurred due to flood in Vishnu Samudra lake.
He said that approximately a loss of Rs 30 lakh has been incurred in Kadur and Tarikere, which would be compensated after holding discussions with the officers at the earliest.
He told that CM who will visit Chikmagalur on November 14 to distribute Bhagyalakshmi bond will be explained elaborately on the existing situation. “A sum of Rs 3.50 crore has been released for the development of Vishnusamudra lake. Dredging of the lake will be carried on in such a way that it will not affect the farmers,” he informed.
Renukacharya visited Bhadra Water Storage Unit construction place where he gathered information from the officer in relation to the delayed construction work.
