PG CET coaching for medicos at MMC&RI soon, says Dean

Speaking at the inauguration of a Continued Medical Education programme on the surgery at the institution here, he said this facility is not being available for the students of the Mysore Medical College. Efforts would be made to organise coaching for the CET for the benefit of PG students.

The CME was organised for the medicos jointly by MMC&RI, Alumni Association, Student’s and Lecturer’s Association and JSS Medical College and Research Institute.

Medical superintendent, K R Hospital, Dr Geeta Avadhani, principal, JSS Medical College, Dr Basavanagowdappa, head, Department of Surgery, Dr G Siddesh and head, Department of Medicine, MMC&RI, Dr Vasudev Naik were present. The CME was conducted by Dr Rajagopal Shenoy, who is also professor, Department of Surgery, KMC Manipal Medical College. A quiz on surgery and a special lecture on stomach ache were also held on the occasion.
