Last Updated 19 November 2010, 12:49 IST

"I have not given in any opinion," he told PTI when asked about Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy, who had said he would  have no no objection if the AG represented  the Prime Minister but he should not not appear in the 2G case.

The Attorney General categorically said he did not appear for DMK leader A Raja, who resigned on Sunday as a telecom minister."I did not appear for Raja. I appeared for Department of Telecom before TDSAT and once before the Delhi High Court," Vahanvati said.
He denied giving any opinion on any policy relating to the 2G spectrum.

Swamy, on whose petition the apex court yesterday sought an affidavit from the Prime Minister for alleged inaction in deciding on his plea for granting sanction to prosecute Raja, said he had no objection to Attorney General representing Singh but has a problem if he comes in 2G case.
