Man killed, 3 injured in motorbike crash

The dead man was Deepanjan Saha (25), a resident of Judicial Layout hailed  from West Bengal. 

Debo Barshan Modeka (27), a software engineer working for a firm on the Brigade Road also from West Bengal, Ananth Kumar (23), a private company employee from Bihar and Sanjeev (23), a final year diploma student from M S Ramaiah College and from Haryana are the injuerd.

Saha was riding a bike with Debo on pillion. They were on their way home from Devanahalli. Saha noticed yellow light which was about to blink. In an attempt to cross before the red light could come on, the rider decided to roll his wrist and go full throttle without noticing the two pedestrians crossing the road, and ploughed into them. The pedestrians were dragged to a distance and were thrown on to a railing on the other side of the road.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. However, Saha was declared dead on arrival. Debo and Sanjeev are said to be in serious serious condition while Ananth Kumar is out of danger.
