<p> Releasing documents at a press conference, Kumaraswamy, who on Saturday attacked Yeddyurappa with claims that his sons received Rs 20crore in cash from a Bellary-based mining company, said: “Yeddyurappa’s family received monetary benefits from two private property developers and for bestowing favours in the form of land allotment.” <br /><br />In the first case, Kumaraswamy said Yeddyurappa entered into an agreement to rent out ‘Davalagiri’, his house at Rajmahal Vilas area, to Adarsh Developers on August 1, 2006 and collected Rs 50 lakh as advance. “However, the house still belongs to the chief minister. He has been conducting political meetings in that house. He should disclose why he collected money from Adarsh Developers”, Kumaraswamy demanded.<br /><br />In another case, B M Jayashankar of Adarsh Developers and his wife Sudha, brother B M Karunesh and Davalagiri Property and Developers Private Limited owned by Yeddyurappa’s family members floated Akarsh Properties, a new company in June 2006. Both the parties have 50 per cent shares. <br /><br />Three properties were purchased in Shimoga in 2006 and 2007. Karunesh only has paid money for all these, Kumaraswamy claimed.<br /><br />As per documents Adarsh Developers extended Rs 92 lakh loan without interest to Bhagath Homes Private Limited, another firm owed by Yeddyurappa family members.<br />A flat costing Rs four crore near Golf Club in Bangalore was registered for just Rs 95 lakh in the name of Davalagiri Property and Developers Private Limited. An amount of Rs 8 crore was paid to Yeddyurappa and his family members in different forms, he alleged <br />In return, Yeddyurappa sanctioned 17.5 acre land near White Field in Bangalore and 25 acre land at Machenahalli in Shimoga and 6.16 acre land at Devarabeesanahalli in Bangalore to Adarsha Developers when he was deputy chief minister and Industries minister in 2006. <br /><br />He sanctioned 28 acre land at Bandikodigehalli and Singahalli when he became Chief Minister in 2008, Kumaraswamy alleged. All these lands were taken for setting up of Information Technology parks, but the firm never established any, but built high-end villas for sale, Kumaraswamy alleged.<br /><br />Former minister<br /><br />Former minister S N Krishnaiah Setty who owns Sree Balaji Krupa Developers, a real estate firm, paid Rs two crore to Davalagiri properties and Rs three crore to Bhagath Homes Private Limited. <br /><br />“Yeddyurappa should answer why Shetty paid money to these two companies”, he urged.<br /><br />Nearly 377 acre land was converted when Telecom Employees Housing Cooperative Society and Sree Balaji Krupa Developers took up several projects. <br /><br />An order was issued on May 28, 2009 in this regard. The Chief Minister should reply whether he collected kickback from Shetty for doing favours, Kumaraswamy charged.</p>
