<p>As many as 128 children from 37 schools who participated in a painting contest on the theme - conservation of fossil fuels - at the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum on Sunday, painted their eco concern on canvas.<br /><br />The contest was aimed at making kids carry forward the oil and gas conservation message. <br />Several students painted prototypes of energy efficient houses with roofs lined with solar cells and facilities of rainwater harvesting. <br /><br />“Onus is on us to protect nature and environment. I hope people will implement suggestions made through my painting,” Nischith P Javagal of Little Flower Public School said. <br /><br />Children also sketched the recent disasters like oil spill.
