Montek says not in race for IMF job

 
“I am not a candidate. This is some speculative thing in the New York Times,” he told reporters at a function to mark fifth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission.

The New York Times has reported that Ahluwalia is among probables to succeed IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss Kahn after his term expires in July next year.
