Last Updated 03 December 2010, 12:28 IST

The Big Bang DJ Festival, India's biggest outdoor electronic music festival, will be held at the Palace Grounds on December 4. The festival will present internationally acclaimed DJ's like D.O.N.S from Germany, Timo Garcia from UK, Vanessa Holliday from South Africa and Swing from India. The gates open in the afternoon.

The crowd will be introduced to genres such as House, Electro, Minimal, Techno, Trance, Break Beat, Latin and Jamtronica. The whole event is aimed at setting a new benchmark in the Bangalore music scene, which is very open to international music.

The event will have a carnival-like feel to it with gaming zones, tattoo designing, a flea market and fire jugglers.

The highlight is the production, which is going to be state-of-the-art. The event will have live AV graphics and sound and lighting by J Davis Prosound and Lighting. “The production is taken to the future level, where the sound, lights, video and trussing would be on par with international DJ festivals. We want to show Bangalore what happens at the international level, as compared to the regular DJ events held here,” said Sunil Davis, Promoter, Groovefunk.
