Research should benefit people: Minister Ramdas

He was speaking at the inauguration of XV National conference of Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry and IV National PG Convention organised at the JSS Dental College and Hospital, in the city on Friday.

Observing that it was the right time to discuss about dentistry, Ramdas said that there was time when dental education was said to be neglected.

However, times have changed, Now dentists are also in high demand.

Wide deliberation needs to be held to find the solution for the challenges faced by medical education, he added.

Ramdas said that JSS University has organised various programmes for the benefit of people residing in rural areas.
