CPM lashes out at BJP, Congress

He said that BJP is a MLA trading company and has created an ‘MLA Bazaar’ in the State.
Speaking at a district-level rally of CPI(M) here on Sunday, Nagaraj said that despite knowledge of eight ministers being involved in various scams, they are continuing to serve in the cabinet. By supporting Yeddyurappa, BJP National President Nitin Gadkari has thrown all political and moral values to the wind. Nagaraj said that Yeddyurappa has alleged that former Chief Ministers S M Krishna, H D Kumaraswamy and Dharam Singh are corrupt.  Then why didn’t the BJP demand a probe when they were in the opposition? he questioned.

Targeting Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who came to advise MLAs about providing good administration, Nagaraj said after he gave them training all the scams started in the State. He said that opposition parties are doing their duty and bringing out the scams in the open. Why didn’t even one BJP MLA question the earlier governments if they knew of corruption? he asked.

Not sparing the Congress party, Nagaraj said that 2G spectrum scam and CWG scam cost the country ` 1.76 lakh crore and ` 70,000 crore respectively.

With such huge money schools with the best infrastructure could have been constructed in every nook and corner of the country, he added.
