Speaking at the Human Rights Day programme here on Friday Justice Saldanha said even the projects for which the land had been acquired were not commissioned.
Referring to several scams that have surfaced in the recent days, he said the 2G scam pales poor compared to the land scams. Observing that 29 pc of the forest wealth in the State has vanished, he said Karnataka had surplus stock of foodgrain once upon a time and now State had to import food.
