Mohan (Mammootty) knows everything a film actor must know.  He has learnt by rote the basics of acting like - A is for acting, C for concentration and T for timing. Though a school master, he has acted in amateur dramas and even done a mini role in a film which unfortunately has bitten the dust at the post-production stage.

Yes, passion is the food for ambition but a frenzied passion makes the hero go extremely nuts. Even while people around him except a handful of genuine well-wishers, jeer at him, he goes door-knocking for a chance. Some give him a piece of their mind, some evade him and some give him a free motivating talk. Finally he meets a gang of small-time film makers who advise him to become a goon to learn their life. The aspiring actor is too naïve to realise that it was a leg-pull. He leaves his supportive wife (Sruthi Ramakrishna) and loving son to join a small gang of contract goons in Kochi. Situations slip out of his hand and life becomes a mess. But he will not give up; so much is the fire in him that he hopes against all hope.

The first-time director has tried to tell the simple story in an impressive way. Though the script goes loquacious at a few parts, the superstar hero’s getting under the skin of the straightforward character is a pleasure. Again we find a fine actor in him.
