Security at places of worship beefed up

Also, he said that all necessary security measures have been taken to ensure that no untoward incidents occur during the forthcoming Zilla and Taluk Panchayat elections.

The State police is equipped to maintain peace and order during the polls and hence would not seek the Central forces, he added.
