Actor Sudeep injured

On Thursday, fight scenes were being shot near the Anjaneya temple, under the direction of stunts director Different Danny. While shooting a scene in which Sudeep breaks a pot, shards hit Sudeep’s right leg, injuring it severely.

Also, the actor suffered minor burns on his back. Sudeep was immediately administered first aid, before being taken in a car in the evening to Bangalore for further treatment.

Speaking to reporters, Sudeep said that by God’s grace and the good wishes of his fans, he had escaped with minor injuries and that he would resume shooting, after receiving treatment.

Sub-Inspector Gopinath visited the spot and dispersed the crowd to make way for the actor’s car to proceed to Bangalore.
