<p>Lakshminarayana, of Turuverkere in Tumkur, had submitted his resignation on Wednesday alleging that he was no longer able to stomach the “caste politics” allegedly being practised by district in-charge minister V Somanna .<br /><br />Sources said Home Minister R Ashoka along with former minister Katta Subramanya Naidu met Lakshminarayana and convinced him to withdraw his resignation.</p>
