Sewer leak causes stink at UN headquarters

The "sewage-like" smell wafted through the office halls, forcing the diplomats to cover their noses.

UN spokesman Farhan Haq said the evacuation was a "precautionary measure" and no one reported any illness, The New York Post reported.The leak is believed to have occurred in the basement and police said it was a faulty sewer pipe.
