Krishna Tribunal award today

The award is expected to give a clear indication on the height of the Almatti reservoir. The present height of the reservoir is 519.6 meter.

The Tribunal comprising retired Supreme Court judge Justice Brijesh Kumar, retired High Court judges Justices D K Seth and S P Srivastava began hearing the case from April 2, 2004. The term of the Tribunal was extended four times on the ground that arguments and counter-arguments were not heard. The Union Government had set December 31 deadline for pronouncing the award.
