<p>The two-and-a-half year old leopard had been killing dogs, cattle, and sheep, in and around Kunchur for several days now. The Forest Department personnel set a trap on Tuesday night; the leopard entered the cage, in a corner of which a goat was tied. <br /><br />Soon after the leopard entered, the gate of the cage was closed, and the leopard was trapped.<br /><br />The leopard was brought to the Range Forest Office in the City on Wednesday. <br />People thronged the place to have a look at the captured animal, and a veterinarian held a check-up. <br /><br />Deputy Conservator of Forest (DCF) K G Basvarajappa said that the leopard would be sent to a zoo or forest area, as per instructions from higher officials.</p>
