Job mela begins tomorrow

Refreshers programme

The aim of the job mela is to organise refreshers programme for candidates, who are qualified but lack the requisite skills sets and to provide employment to all.

Candidates will be recruited based on the industry requirement, he said. The two-day job fair will begin on January 12 from 8 am to 5 pm. On the first day representatives of various companies will interview candidates with educational qualification ranging from third standard to diploma.

Degree holders

On January 13, the second day of the fair, candidates with degree, post graduate and degrees in technical education will be interviewed.

As many as 25 State and national level companies in service, IT, BPO, manufacturing industry, marketing, security, hospitality, garments and other sectors will be taking part at the job fair.

Companies to participate

More than 80 local companies will also be participating at the skills development and job fair. VRS Silicon Services, Somendra Communications, Precision Tech Serve, CNC Centre, Ravi Electricals, Tata Teleservices and several other companies will be recruiting candidates at the job mela.

Candidates can directly contact various representatives of the companies at their respective stalls in the job mela.  Recruitment of candidates will be done on the spot.
