Sowing has been completed in 33,720 hectare land in Kodagu district.
The target is to sow in 38,750 hectare land.
Paddy has been sown in 30,000 hectare land. Sowing is in progress in 245 hectare land.
Jowar is sown in 3,215 hectare land, said Agriculture Department Joint Director K R Krishnaiah.
Agriculture department has distributed 2,513 tonne seeds so far. This includes 2,110 tonne paddy, 403 tonne jowar.
As many as 6,886 farmers have availed seeds from the department.
About 33,143 tonne fertilisers have been distributed in the district.
