Sowing is in progress in 245 hectare land. <br />Jowar is sown in 3,215 hectare land, said Agriculture Department Joint Director K R Krishnaiah. <br /><br />Agriculture department has distributed 2,513 tonne seeds so far. This includes 2,110 tonne paddy, 403 tonne jowar.<br /><br /> As many as 6,886 farmers have availed seeds from the department. <br />About 33,143 tonne fertilisers have been distributed in the district.</p>
