"I was very worried about if I could really do this role because I was born in Los Angeles and this character (Milind) was born in Pune and he had to be very realistic," Omi says adding "I worked very very hard to get the accent correct and it came out very well."

Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the film also stars Ajay Devgn and Emrran Hashmi and will hit the screens on January 26.

"I think I am more proud of this film than I am actually of '3 Idiots' because I had to do something very different than what I am," the 28-year-old who speaks fluent Marathi said.

Omi says though, many offers were coming, he has been choosy. "After looking at many films (scripts) I picked up 'Dil To Baccha Hai Ji' because this was something special and different," he added.

"I think this movie would also do very well and everyone is going to enjoy me in the role of Milind Kelkar as they loved Chatur," Omi added.
