Neha Naaz (20), fifth semester student of textiles engineering in Bapuji Polytechnic here, was the topper in the college in her four semesters and was depressed after she lost the top position by four marks in the results for the fifth semester exam that were announced recently, the Vidyanagar police who have registered a case, said.
Neha hanged herself in her
S S Extension residence. Neha’s father Mohammed Rafiq is employed in the Grameena Bank at Manvi, while mother Dilshad Begum is a teacher in Bhanuvalli of Harihar Taluk.
